Abundant Life Church, located just outside of Kokomo, Indiana, started in 2001 one as a humble Bible study that met at the Kokomo YMCA. As they grew, they moved. The most recent move, the fourth in 22 years, brought them to their current location where we were honored to be a small part of this dynamic, growing body that lives by the manta: “We will bring life, love, and value to everyone, everywhere, every day.”
The challenge was to integrate state-of-the-art audio and video system that would match the engery and spirit of this growing body. Mankin collaborated with the Abundant Life Team to give them all of the technical capabilites they needed to continue to engage their audience and support this growing church on day one and in the years to come.
Mankin worked with the staff and project architect to develop all of the necessary drawings including building infrastructure, electrical upgrades, structural requirements, and acoustical treatment for the promising new space.
The auditorium, as well as the class rooms, and children’s spaces, needed highly flexible systems that could change and adapt as the creative needs shifted. All rooms are equipped with Extron monitors for push-button control. In addition to the audio and video upgrades, each room is equipped with the ability to stream content to and from the spaces.
All technical components of the system were chosen to maximize longevity and minimize maintenance requirements, emphasizing the strategy of sustained excellence. All elements are supported by the Guardian Lifeline and Guardian Protect. The Guardian by Mankin network operations center offers live, real-time support during services and events.

Digital experiences are seen as outreach for Abundant Life. Leaders are empowered to organize micro-sites supported by the resources of a digital on-demand platform. They are also using their digital capabilities for educational opportunities created by their ministry. Abundant Life is maximizing technology to carry out their mission of bringing life, love, and value to everyone, everywhere, every day.
